I guess I do.. simply because I’ve been told. I believe I’m a good person.. when I want to be.. but I would believe that I’m a good person, much faster than I would believe I’m some kind of supermodel.. Because I assure you, I have more self image issues than I let on.
I feel like as female, I have this pressure to be perfect for a man. I’m a woman; I’m not supposed to have hair in places I shouldn’t or burp or eat too much or sweat or look sloppy. I don’t want to be seen scarfing down my fifth piece of pizza or walking around in baggy sweats and a bare face. Now, you might think I HATE this pressure, that I want to rebel. But no. I LIKE being feminine next to a man. I like having a smooth body and a perfectly (ok not always so perfect) styled hairdo. I like being seen as something delicate. I like feeling like I need to always be ready for a photo op instead of always ready for sleep.
